DIY Chrome Brake Reservoir Cover
Pat Sparks, one of our good friends from the land of OZ turned me on to this enhancement. It was made for Honda's, but it is a perfect fit for the GV650! Refreshingly, it is steel (not plastic) and has a really nice chromed finish. Although it covers the reservoir, the slots allow an easy visual of the brake fluid. The MSRP is $16.95, but I got mine from the source below for just over $20 delivered:
The only reason installation took 5 minutes was that I got a call from a customer and I had to find a lock washer to fit the new chromed hex head bolt! Other than that it would have been less than a minute! (you know, "bolt off, bolt on.....")
